I feel so fortunate to be able to say that I had a wonderful mother, long on patience with a repartee so keen my sides would ache from laughter. At any provocation a fierce defender of her children, encouraging, creative with a daring curiosity she was an inspiration to all of us. One who always looked perfect an attribute that was much to difficult for me to follow but my sister excelled in this arena.
I hope this Mothers Day weekend ( why not the whole weekend? ) you will celebrate your Mother whether she is living next door, across the country, across the world or like my mom in your heart and memories.
