The setting is remeinecient of a shield or coat of arms. The vermeil Eucharist Chalice is centered in an oval with sheaths of wheat and grapevines on either side it is a exceptional antique First Communion medal. On the lower right the initial AP can be seen, they are of the maker or the foundry where the medal was made. Elegantly engraved on the reverse side are the initials J.D. or D.J. This beautiful Christian Confirmation medal measures 7/8" wide x 2.5" long. Ref. 1212H
