This lovely rectangular Maria Immaculate Lourdes medals is French, it measures 5/8" wide x 3/4" long and signed by the maker Poncet Penin. The French silver mark is on the loop. On the front of this rectangular antique Lourdes medal is a beautiful silhouette of The Blessed Virgin Mary with halo of gold vermeil behind her head, at the base are the words ‘Maria Immac’ and on the right side the makers signature Poncet Penin. The reverse has a highly detailed scene of the Grotto with a depiction of St. Bernadette and beautifully delineated with gold vermeil just behind the vision of the Immaculate Lady. Ref. rm1262
