The coat of arms of Joan of Arc rests clearly in the lower center of this enameled cross of Lorainne. You can easily see the lilies on either side of her sword who's point is surmounted by a crown. In Christianity, the flaming heart is a symbol of sacrifice, higher love, grace and mercy all of those qualities were embodied by Jehanne d'Arc. As you can see it is in perfect condition. Used as vintage jewelry supplies it could be beautifully reimagined. On the lower three points of this St Jeanne d'Arc brooch you see the initials F J A. It measures; 1-3/4" long x 1- 7/8" wide x 1" The Cross of Lorraine (French: Croix de Lorraine) was originally a heraldic cross.
