St Therese of Lisieux is shown here in a beautiful French antique brooch. Etched in the deep blue enamel at the top are the letters P-C-J-I or F and across the bottom Sucy-en-Brie, which is the name of a small village since the ninth century in the southeastern suburb of Paris. The curvilinear shape and the deep blue enamel border is unusual and so pretty lending historic harmony to this piece.
