Several years ago I found this group of antique fuseaux at a French brocante in the northwest part of the country, they are circa 1890 and certainly are nifty conversation pieces! Approximate size is - 4.25" long. ⚜️Have a look at someone making lace using this kind of bobbin on YouTube.
