Antique Japanese Water Dropper
This brown antique stoneware Japanese water dropper was dug up in San Francisco in 1907 after the earthquake. The water dropper has a chip on the rim (photo 8) but the spout is perfect. With the exception of a few drips the beautiful rich brown glaze stops just about 1/2 inch above the unglazed foot. It is an unusual and serene piece. Ref. Br 2087
